“Kids Do Well When They Can”
-Dr. Ross Green
Welcome! I’m glad you are here.
I'm Dr. Jess, an occupational therapist, researcher, and mom of five.
"Kids do well if they can" has always been a favorite quote of mine because it reflects how I view development and my approach to working with children and families. If kids aren't doing well, it's our job to come alongside them, understand what their behavior is communicating, and provide support tailored to their unique needs.
I started my practice to offer something different: a deeper, more personalized approach that looks beneath surface behaviors to understand sensory needs, stress responses, and nervous system regulation. Support that addresses the whole child, not just isolated skills.
Every family works directly with me. I help parents gain clarity about their child and what their behavior communicates about underlying sensory, motor, emotional, and nervous system needs. I help kids build regulation, resilience, and real-life skills through play-based, relationship-centered therapy that honors who they are and helps caregivers build a toolkit of strategies and supports that work across settings to help their child thrive.
